About Me
I’m a Berlin-based dancer, artist, and Aerial Yoga teacher with a deep passion for movement. My journey began with classical ballet as a child and expanded into contemporary and creative dance in my teens. After training as an actress at the European Theatre Institute in my 20s, I delved into Butoh, studying with masters like Minako Seki, Atsushi Takenouchi, Imre Thormann, Yuko Kaseki, and Ko Murobushi. I went on to perform and teach Butoh internationally in countries like Brazil, Chile, Russia, and Sweden.
After a personal and professional turning point, I explored new creative paths, including visual arts and costume design for theater. I also gained experience in management at the Uferstudios, Berlin’s hub for contemporary dance. This period of exploration, though challenging, allowed me to reconnect with my artistic roots and shape the work I do today.
In 2023, I began collaborating with Iraqi choreographer Akiles on the project “Circk(ulus) – Circle of Society in Various Colors”, a movement workshop promoting solidarity with refugee youth, in partnership with Berlin Mondiale, Cabuwazi Tempelhof, and Outreach GmbH.
After 20 years of practicing yoga in various styles, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Portugal in 2023. The following year, I trained in Aerial Yoga with Jost Blomeyer and am currently pursuing further qualifications, including a 300-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training at Yoga Sky Berlin and a second Aerial Yoga certification with Camille Semiotaite-Whitaker (online).
My love for aerial arts has grown ever stronger, and I now focus on Aerial Yoga and Aerial Acrobatics, while continuing to study Aerial Hammock and Aerial Silk. My diverse experiences in dance, theater, and yoga enrich my work, where each discipline supports and enhances the others.
